Bic is an international brand known for producing an array of iconic products including writing instruments, lighters and shaving razors.
Founded in 1945 by Marcel Bich and Edouard Buffard, Bic started as a manufacturer of mechanical pencil parts in Clichy, France.
The brand expanded internationally throughout the mid 1950’s and 1960’s acquiring UK based Biro/Swan and Waterman pen in the USA, and again in the late 1990’s by spreading their distribution to Eastern Europe and Asia.
