Founded in 1887 by Wilhelm Koreska in Vienna, they company has been run by four successive generations of Koreska family members and is still headquartered in the founding city.

Kores currently have 2 principle factories in Mexico and the Czech Republic, and run their logistics services from Mexico City, Shanghai and Vienna.
