Schneider is a German based producer of high quality writing instruments currently headquartered in Schramberg, Germany with production based in Wernigerode and sales based in Weilheim.

The company was founded in 1938 by the Schneider Brothers as a manufacturer of screws and turned parts, but shifted to production of pen refill cartridges in 1945.
